To You, To Tomorrow
What is love I didn’t really understood,
Until I met you I was still a child.
Your strong hands helped me do things I never could,
My love is deep but appears to be mild.
The heart of mine flutters but remains shy,
Your eyes sometimes like darkness in the night;
Feels deep and wise far away in the sky;
The windows of your heart still shine so bright,
The light you gave me I cannot repay.
Compare your simile to Heaven and Earth,
Even spring flowers turn jealous and grey.
Hills of gold would never equal your worth;
Your kindness will be my most precious gift,
Till the ocean run dry my love won’t drift.
